Alexander Barash (1960, Moscow) - poet, prose writer, essayist. In the 1980s-editor (together with N. Baitov) of the independent literary almanac "Epsilon-Salon", curator of the Epsilon group in the club "Poetry". Since 1989 he has been living in Jerusalem. The author of the four books of poems, the latter - "Itineraria" (2009), two autobiographical novels, the latter - "Note" (2014), books of translations of Israeli poetry "Ecology of Jerusalem" (2011) One of the creators and the author of the texts of the Moscow Rock band "Megapolis". The poetry of Alexander Barash connects the Western and Russian traditions in the "golden section" of the Levant, where the memory of Soviet experience is included in European, Israeli, Byzantine, Mediterranean contexts. Traveling in time and spaces are embodied in free verses, where thought is inseparable from feeling, observation from experience, personal experience from historical events
