The presented book is largely autobiographical. It includes stories and poems selected by the author and united by one theme, which served as the title of this collection. The book is diverse, containing both early stories and poems born from events of long past years. It reflects the past of the 20th century, echoes of peaceful and wartime events of that time. The text will discuss the difficult yet beautiful childhood, youth, and maturity. The author has been to many hotspots around the world, working as a surgeon at the Embassy of the Republic of Niger, saving people from malaria, polio, performing surgeries in almost field conditions. He also worked in Paris, Morocco, Switzerland, wherever fate threw him. The book will be interesting to all readers and travel enthusiasts.
