Letters of the fallen heroes

A piece of paper folded into a triangle. A postcard. A homemade envelope. Sometimes just a Komsomol ticket, a cigarette pack, or a scrap of paper. They had letters from the front, diary entries, appeals, notes... All of them were written before battle, under artillery fire, in a trench, at a table in a dugout, on the wall of a prison cell. And it doesn't matter what they were written with - pen, pencil, nail, brick fragment... They were written with the heart of a person who understands that they are destined to die and that this message will be their last...
Reading this book, you see the terrible images of the Great Patriotic War. Tears blur your eyes, but at the same time, there is a feeling of admiration for the heroism and resilience of people in the face of death, people who did not spare themselves for the sake of the Great Victory.
