The workbook "Letter. Distinguishing hard and soft consonant sounds. Correct spelling" is designed for students in grades 2-4 who have difficulties mastering writing skills. It is part of the educational and methodological complex "Speech therapy support for elementary school students" developed to help younger students who struggle with mastering the basic educational program of primary general education. The tasks in the workbook are aimed at developing the ability to distinguish consonant sounds considering the characteristics of "hardness-softness," determining their place in a word, correlating them with letters, and writing them correctly. The material is divided into 11 themes, each of which presents 2-3 phonemes in a differentiated manner. All texts for exercises are written in cursive font. Working with the workbook concludes with a test that allows the child to assess their achievements.
The workbook can be used during lessons or extracurricular activities, in accompanying corrective and pedagogical work, and when parents provide assistance to children.
