Lenten Triodion services

The liturgical texts of the Lenten Triodion are an inexhaustible treasury of Orthodox theology and hymnography. Unfortunately, believers do not always grasp this verbal wealth through hearing, so there is an urgent need to convey it to the mind and heart of the Russian churchgoer in an accessible form. In this edition, which is the first book in a series, the texts of the most attended services of the preparatory pre-Paschal period from the Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee to the fifth Sunday of Great Lent dedicated to St. Mary of Egypt are printed. The structure of the book allows for its use in both the church and for personal reading. Additionally, the publication can be used as a study guide for liturgics. This edition has been significantly expanded and corrected compared to the 2002 edition.
