The book of the famous English Egyptologist Ernest Wallis Budge contains ancient Egyptian legends about the creation of the world, the death and resurrection of Horus, stories about Isis and Osiris. The author presents an account of Egyptian mythology in a broad historical context. Budge's work is complemented by the work of René Schwaller de Lubicz, dedicated to the evolution of symbolic consciousness, and the work of Georges Nagel, opening up the world of the mysteries of Isis and Osiris to the reader.
