In this study, an attempt was made to determine the features of the nature of digital property, the theory of dividing rights into a digital medium and the exclusive right concluded in it were mentioned, an analogy with the development of securities legislation was drawn. In addition, the fundamental provisions of a new type of subjective rights are formed, as a result of which the approach to the rights of copyright holders by analogy with the possession of material objects, as well as formulated protection mechanisms, which are of particular importance in cases of unlawful seizure of virtual objects.
