In the presented monograph, the author explores contractual work for state needs as a way to implement state authorities of public administration functions. The sources of legal regulation of contracting work for state needs are considered, the provisions of the Federal Law of April 5, 2013 are being analyzed.

The possibility of applying warranty retention as a method for ensuring the fulfillment of obligations in the implementation of the work under study is considered.
