The monograph is dedicated to the principle of good faith, the development of which in law has gone from custom through judicial position to being enshrined in a written norm of law (mandatory or recommendatory), and now the principle of good faith is represented in all legal forms: a general principle of law, a norm jus cogens, a peremptory norm of law. The work examines the legal forms of denying dishonest behavior and the corresponding legal means, provides a definition of the concept of 'dishonest behavior,' and explains the necessity of studying the system (coexistence) of legal antipodes: 'good faith' and 'bad faith,' - which should be considered in dialectical unity and from the position of compensatory complementarity, i.e. complementing each other's opposites. The book is intended for students, postgraduates, and teachers of law schools and faculties, as well as practicing lawyers.
