Remy de Gourmon (Remy de Gourmont, 1858–1915) is a novelist, publicist and critic of the “end of the century”, an ideologist of French symbolism. The epistolary novel “The Dream of one Woman” (Le Songe D’ Une Femme, 1899) continues the genre tradition of “Dangerous Relations” by Shorelo de Laco: letters - and romantic relationships - connect four heroes - fields, Anna, Pierre and Claude. In the Russian translation by N.G. Molotnia Roman received the name Leda and the Jacond - a response to Leonardo"s canvas, preserved only in copies. Talking about the most intimate experience, Led and the Jacqued become the creations of not a brilliant master, but the real world, filled with intense and contradictory erotic experiences
