The peculiarity of these musical notation exercises is the repeated writing of two parallel scales - C major and A minor, which are the primary cells of the circle of fifths of tonalities. Each time, the familiar scales are presented to the child in a different rhythmic or metric form, posing new cognitive tasks for them. In the process of learning, this technique allows the child to focus on a new element of the musical language that has appeared in a familiar notation. In the manual, almost all elements of the musical language are organized into four- or eight-bar structures, which will allow the learner not only to write the proposed note-rhythmic material but also to perform it. The musical exercises will introduce young musicians to the placement of notes on the staff, to the violin and bass clefs, give initial ideas about key, meter, note durations and rests, alteration signs, and dynamic nuances.
