The monograph presents an author’s view of the urgent problem of the emergence, course and resolution of conflicts and conflict situations in the investigation of crimes.
The positions of well-known forensic scientists and processualists, law enforcement officers, representatives of the expert community and the lawyer corps on the problem of special knowledge, their types and forms, and the use of the results of their application in the process of solving the problems of domestic criminal proceedings are given.
Based on the analysis of legal, special literature, the forms and types of special knowledge are generalized and proposed that can be used by the investigator in the investigation of crimes in conflict investigative situations.
The monograph notes the role of international cooperation in the field of forensic activities to combat transnational and cross-border crimes, the investigation of which, often, is conflicting. The analysis of some provisions of foreign legislation (first of all, the EAEU member countries), which regulates the use of special knowledge in the investigation of crimes, made it possible to conclude that the need to improve domestic legislation in the field of forensic expert activities in the context of Eurasian integration.
We believe that the materials presented will be useful for both practical law enforcement officials and for lawyers, students mastering legal specialties
