In this textbook, the relationship between the right and the economy is considered in the international context, and the foundations of this area of knowledge, the significance of which increases more and more, is explained and simply. Basically, the author relies on the neoclassical tradition of economic analysis of law, but at the same time also demonstrates the achievements of the most advanced areas of research, in particular the theory of law in the behavioral economy.
Among the key features of this innovative book should be called judicial practice, directives, instructions and statistics from the legal systems of the EU, the UK and the USA, presented clearly and in the context of students who are understandable to students, to demonstrate how the theory of law and economics can be applied on practice. For the convenience of students at the end of each chapter, its main provisions are briefly formulated. To organize independent work of students in each chapter there is a list of sources and recommended literature.
To facilitate the understanding of the material, tables and diagrams are used, but in general the text represents a comprehensive description of the law and economy, which is ideal for beginners in this area and can be used as a textbook
