The book "Legal status of compatriots living in the countries of the post -Soviet space: comparative analysis" contains the results of a study conducted in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, the Pridnestrovsky Moldavian Republic, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Estonia, LPR and DPR. The study was carried out by the Institute of Diaspora and Integration (Institute of CIS countries) in 2021-2022. It included an analysis of regulatory acts regulating the use of the Russian language in the studied countries, the results of a sociological survey among population groups related to Russian compatriots, a review of previously conducted research on the problem of using the Russian language and its functioning in various areas of public life.
