In this publication, a set of issues devoted to the legal regulation of relations for the provision of family content is dismantled. The central place in the family content is occupied by the legal relationship of alimony. The author analyzes the state of legal regulation of the legal relationship of alimony, its structure, revealing the concepts of alimony and alimony as elements of the legal relationship of alimony. Pays attention to the legal status of the subjects of the legal relationship of alimony, reflects on the understanding of the object of the legal relationship of alimony. The main directions of the possible development of legal regulation of relations for the provision of family content are indicated, the author’s concept of development trends of legal regulation of the legal regulation of alimony is proposed, which is based on the widespread use of the principles of voluntariness, responsibility, self -organization of participants in the provision of family content, and the departure from “paternalistic” trends from the part States in the legal regulation of alimony relations, electronic records of payers and recipients of alimony based on platform decisions. An objective necessity is the development of the legal relationship of alimony, which corresponds to the modern challenges of the technological development of society, in order to overcome the crisis of alimony non -payments.
