The monograph was prepared at the university named after O. E. Kutafin and is devoted to evolution, the development trends of legal science in Russia in pre -revolutionary, Soviet and modern periods. The authors sought to trace continuity in the development of domestic legal science.
The material is structured according to the branches of scientific knowledge and to some extent scientific specialties and includes seven sections: on the formation and development of theoretical and historical sciences, sciences related to public law, the history of criminal law sciences, sciences procedural cycle, international law sciences. The authors not only investigated the development trends of legal science in Russia in previous periods, but also devoted a special section to the analysis of new areas in Russian legal science, in particular, information, banking, competitive law, intellectual property law, etc.
The monograph is intended for students of legal universities, practical workers, all interested in the domestic history of legal science.
