The book considers the formation and development of the Intersectoral Institute for the use of the results of operational-search activities in proof in criminal cases. At the same time, significant attention is paid to the analysis of the epistemological and legal aspects of operational-search and criminal procedure, theory of cognition and the theory of evidence as the methodological basis for the use of the results of operational-search activity in evidence.
In the work, attention is drawn to the absence in the theory, legislation and practice of a single approach to solving the problem of using the results of operational-search activities, the most common concepts of its solution are analyzed, a fundamentally new solution to the problem is proposed.
The book is designed for judges, prosecutors, investigators, interrogators, operational workers, teachers of law universities, graduate students, students of these universities, as well as all those interested in the problems of using the results of operational-search activities in proof in criminal cases.
