The presented monograph is devoted to the study of the development features of the Legal System of the PRC from the moment of its formation in 1949 to the present (2018) The specificity of the law of socialist China is noted in the period before the beginning of destructive political campaigns, whose apogee was the great proletarian cultural revolution. For a long period of “Lighting” (1958-1976), Chinese law can only be discussed in the historical aspect.
The situation in the legal system of the PRC began to change after the death of Mao Zedong. New Chinese leaders initiated the legal process, revived the destroyed state bodies. Over time, more than two hundred new laws appeared in the legal system of the PRC, a huge number of by -laws of regulatory legal acts.
With the advent of Xi Jinping in 2012, the vector of the development of the legal system has undergone significant changes. So, a significant number of new laws are adopted not only in the economic sphere, but also in the field of ensuring state security.
At the end of the study, a complete list of the laws of the PRC acting as of 01.09.2018 is given, which clearly indicate the features of the development of the Chinese legislative system in the historical period under consideration.
