The monographs are given the systemic characteristics of the principle of subsidiarity, which is one of the organizational principles (along with the principles of proportionality, endowment by competence) of the European Union. The historical roots of the origin of this principle, its genesis and development are shown. The theoretical and legal approaches to the interpretation of the conceptual parameters of the principle of subsidiarity, its typology, the trajectory of use in the context of centralization trends, decentralization (including virginity, deconententration) are considered. The legal foundations of the European model of the principle of subsidiary, practice, features and criteria for its application in the system of legal regulation of the European Union are analyzed. The theoretical and regulatory foundations of the early warning mechanism as an instrument for monitoring compliance with the principle of subsidiarity in the legislative process of the European Union, as well as the relevant law enforcement practices have been comprehensively investigated.
