The work is devoted to one of the most urgent and insufficiently developed problems of administrative and legal science-the effectiveness of administrative and legal sanctions. The book on the basis of Marxist-Leninist philosophy, the general theory of state and law considers the issues of social efficiency of conviction and coercion as universal methods of public administration of socialist society, reveals the role and place of administrative coercion in the mechanism of law enforcement, the purpose and types of administrative sanctions used for misconduct in the field of public order.
From the standpoint of system analysis in the work, the concept of the effectiveness of administrative sanctions is studied, the content of the goals, indicators, conditions and factors of the effectiveness of these legal means is revealed.
