This book is about law as a normative form of freedom and its role in the development of Russia, in solving domestic and international problems. On the Constitution as a universal legal source of integration of Russian society, on the implementation of the principles of the rule of law, equality and justice in the context of modern contradictions and risks. On the constitutional and legal identity of Russia as a sovereign subject of domestic and international relations, about the need to build a new just world order. These issues are considered from the standpoint of historicism, general laws and sociocultural identity of Russia in the way of its entry into the modern civilization of law forming within the framework of the global space.
The second edition of the book was prepared taking into account the lectures given by the author at the International St. Petersburg Law Forum in 2011-2018, based on the first edition (M., 2011).
