The second volume of this monograph is devoted to the competence of arbitration courts that allow investment disputes. The basis of the study is issues that are most often the subject of disagreements between participants in the arbitration proceedings, including the consent of the receiving state to arbitration, the status of an investor, the concept of “investment”. Since the prospect of forming a single approach to solving these issues seems very distant, the discussion about the authority of arbitrators continues to maintain its relevance.
