Territorial autonomies in foreign unitary and rationalist states in Europe and Asia

This monograph is one of the first works in domestic jurisprudence, where the constitutional legal statuses of territorial autonomies of foreign unitary and regionalist states have been comprehensively investigated.
The study discusses the constitutional statuses of the autonomous regions of the PRC, the Azores and Madeira (Portugal), the Aland Islands (Finland), Acheha and Papua (Indonesia), Gagauzia (Moldova), Hong Kong and Macau (PRC), Mining and Mining Badakhshanskaya Autonomous Region (Tajikistan), cakes (France), Mindanao and Cordillera (Philippines), Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic (Azerbaijan), Republic of Karakalpakstan (Uzbekistan), Northern Ireland, Faroe Islands and Greenland (Denmark), Scotland and Wales (UK) Particular attention is paid to regionalist states (based on the materials of Spain and Italy).
On the example of the Holy Mount Athos and Western Thrace, the Institute of Functional Autonomy was analyzed, it was compared with the model of the Institute of National-Cultural Autonomy in the Russian Federation. In the context of the Institute of Territorial Autonomy, Indian reservations (settlements) of the United States and Canada, the non -irradiated territories of the United States, the overseas territories of France and Great Britain were investigated, and signs have been identified that characterize their institutional resemblance to autonomies. In the context of the constitutional legal status of New Caledonia, the features of the separation of the sovereignty of France are considered.
