The book presents the basis of the problems of typology and factor conditioning of suicidal behavior of investigative and convicted persons. The basic concepts and terms of suicidology are highlighted, the historical aspect will affect, as well as the causes of suicidal behavior of convicts. The main results of the multi -year studies of data on incomplete suicides and suicidal attempts by persons who were brought to criminal liability on serious and especially serious articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation from 2010 to 2014 for crimes committed in the city of Irkutsk and Irkutskoye are presented areas. The psychopathological and personal mechanisms of suicidal actions of former employees convicted of crimes are shown. The leading risk factors have been identified, the role of the anamnestic data of suicids in the formation of suicidal behavior is indicated, clinical examples are given. The main approaches to the prevention of suicides in places of imprisonment are highlighted. The authors have developed a questionnaire that allows identifying the predisposition of the sub -expert to perform an auto -aggressive act in investigative insulators and prisons.
