The monograph reveals the system of postpenitorial control measures, which has developed in the legislation of the Russian Federation and foreign states. The conceptual basis and evolution of control at the postphenian stage is substantiated in conjunction with social control in general. The legal nature of postpenitorial control measures, its socio-legal components, as well as a typology are investigated. The legislation is given as of September 2017.
