Scientific and practical postal commentary on the Federal Law On Personal Data

This scientific and practical commentary on the Federal Law on Personal Data is prepared taking into account the latest changes made to the Federal Law of December 30, 2020 No. 519-ФЗ "On Amending the Federal Law" "On Personal Data" "and Federal The Law of June 11, 2021 No 170-ФЗ "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation in connection with the adoption of the Federal Law" On State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control in the Russian Federation "".
When preparing the commentary, the provisions of the relevant by -laws are taken into account, as well as the latest changes to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation regarding administrative responsibility for violation of the legislation on personal data. The domestic judicial practice, clarifications of the Ministry of Civil Academy of Russia and Roskomnadzor on the application of law on personal data were used. A number of provisions of the Law on Personal Data are analyzed in comparison with European legislation (General Data Protection Regulation) and the legal positions of the European Court of Justice.
