The commentary on the norms of the general part of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is built on a brief reasonable and constructive criticism of the current criminal legislation. The author is not only a scientist, but also a practicing lawyer in criminal cases, which allows you to feel true modern law enforcement practice, which should be taken into account in the issues of criminal law. The task of this work was the identification of imperfect: unfair, inconsistent, formal, contradictory and not entirely correct provisions of the norms of the general part of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
