Russian-Chinese relations are one of the most important areas of the foreign policy activity of our state. In the changing world, the significance of the Chinese factor in international affairs of Russia is also changing. How? The answer to this question requires a comprehensive and balanced view of the state and prospects for the development of relations between the two great world powers. It was this approach that the author of the book was chosen by a prominent Russian orientalist professor, doctor of historical sciences S.G. Luzyanin, an approach, unfortunately, rarely found in Chinese literature. The author managed to structure and analyze almost the entire spectrum of foreign policy and foreign economic relations of the PRC, including with Russia. This approach made it possible to reveal, perhaps, the “hot” theme of modernity - the formation of an updated world, taking into account the place and role in this process of Russia and China
