Risks of digitization: types, characteristics, criminal-law assessment. Monograph

The monograph has a characteristic of key scientific and technical areas that have the most significant impact on the development of the digital environment: big data, artificial intelligence, distributed register systems (blockchain), industrial Internet, components of robotics, mobile and satellite communication technologies, and knowledge extraction. The areas of use of digital technologies are presented with the greatest risks: digital medicine, digital city control, digital logistics, e -commerce, industry 4.0, social networks and media, digital management of workspace and smart houses. The basic concepts of information security and the basic approaches to the technical conditionality of the occurrence of risks in digitalization processes are described. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of crimes in the computer sphere provided for in Ch. 28 of the Criminal Code, which leads to the conclusion about the need to revise the terminology of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in order to adequate parrying of existing threats in the field
