The publication is devoted to the legal regulation of relations, the subjects of which are pensioners. It is proposed to determine the legal status of persons receiving certain types of pensions in connection with age (old-age pensions), as well as regardless of the achievement of retirement age (children with disabilities, military pensioners, other groups) The work allows you to form a holistic idea of persons entitled to pension provision as subjects of legal relations. The history of the formation of legislation on social security in the Soviet period and in modern Russia, general approaches within the framework of international law and the specifics of legal regulation in foreign countries are shown.
The relevance of the problems is associated with large -scale changes in the structure of modern society, reflecting not only all -Russian, but also world trends.
