The Union State of Belarus and Russia is one of the oldest integration associations in the Eurasian space. Undoubtedly, the advanced integration experience of the Union state in the social, military-political, as well as in a number of areas of the economic sphere can be used in the implementation of integration processes within other Eurasian regional associations and is extremely important and in demand precisely during the transition to multipolarity and the formation of the Eurasian pole to world arena. In the 1st volume of this publication, the main historical stages of the union construction, the institutional structure of the Union State and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia were considered, the cooperation of the member states in the economic and finas-budget spheres was analyzed.
