This book is an important step in the study of international investment arbitration, its nature and differences from related institutions. The climax of the arbitration process is the recognition and execution of the decision of the international investment arbitration, where the effectiveness of the arbitration agreement and decision is manifested. It is at this stage that the collision of the interests of the respondent state and a foreign investor is most clearly manifested, and the norms on state immunity come into effect. In this monograph, the author studied the causal relationship between the public law nature of investment disputes and the problems arising in this regard in the recognition and execution of arbitration decisions, and also estimated the limits of the influence of the doctrine of state immunity during this procedure. The active use of the comparative legal method made it possible to indicate the approaches of the Russian Federation to recognize and execute decisions of international investment arbitration and determine further ways of developing legislation and judicial practice in this area.
