This study is devoted to the analysis of the functioning of modern Russian state and legal systems in the interaction and mutual influence on each other, taking into account the prospects of their further development in the twenty -first century.
Currently, Russian civilization is faced with numerous economic, geopolitical, ideological, informational and other challenges that jeopardize its very existence, which is not disputed by anyone. However, both in politics and in science there is no unity of opinions regarding the nature of the answers to these challenges, and even more so, areas of development of the Russian state and law, both in the foreseeable and in the long term, without which the further progressive development of the state is impossible
