The monograph is devoted to the consideration of such phenomena in the modern world as human trade and slavery. The study is comprehensive: it presents the basic concepts related to these phenomena, an outline of the legal history of the fight against slavery and slave trade, and both at the international and national levels, modern international legal regulation of the fight against human trade and slavery. Consistently examined in a comparative legal vein (using also Russian experience) on the example of the countries of the Anglo-Saxon and Romano-Germanic legal families and Arab countries, domestic legislation, counteracting slavery and human trafficking (is also reflected in the domestic legislation of international obligations) , the activities of bodies that carry out such opposition, responsibility for committing criminal acts in this area and the protection of victims of human trafficking and slavery by domestic funds. At the same time, all the inhabited parts of the world of the Earth are covered (on the example of individual countries): Europe, Asia, Africa, America, Australia.
