The book made an attempt to characterize the modern Russian state, using the genre of essays that allowed to focus on the main features of domestic statehood. An analysis of the substantive sides of modern post -Soviet statehood is based on traditional methodological landmarks - the so -called elemental approach (Aristotle, G. Elinek), which involves the allocation of key state -forming features. The Aristotelian concept is actively used. Attention is drawn to the lack of state systemic strategic planning, relevant scientific concepts, including emergency situations, insufficient sovereignty of the judiciary, the lack of real federalism and other problems. The author’s argument is supported by data published in various official sources.
For experts in the field of state and law, political science, sociology, etc. will be interesting to state and municipal employees, everyone who is not indifferent to the fate of Russia
