In this work, the processes of legal convergence have been investigated from the standpoint of interior legal doctrine and practice: how, with the help of what legal means and in what forms, international law brings together national legal systems. A special emphasis is on theoretical aspects of legal convergence and analysis of its complex and complex nature in the light of the categories that accompany it: globalization, universalization and fragmentation, supranationality and sovereignty.
The author identifies three basic international legal convergence methods (harmonization, unification and integration) and two main international legal forms (international agreement and international organization) The second form logically includes the first, since the basis of any international organization is an international agreement. Therefore, special attention is paid to international organizations using integration as the most advanced method of legal convergence today: the combination of this form and this method are the most effective for the processes of rapprochement of legal systems.
The legislation is given as of November 1, 2019
