This publication is the first comprehensive comparative legal study of the institution of indirect coercion in the enforcement proceedings of Russia and foreign states. Today, measures of the so -called indirect coercion, which are expressed in the restriction of, as a rule, of the personal rights and freedoms of the debtor, are of greatest interest. The Russian enforcement proceedings provide for two measures of this kind: a temporary restriction of the right to leave the Russian Federation and a temporary restriction of the right to drive a vehicle. The monograph made an attempt to formulate the concept of the institution of indirect coercion, to develop a classification of appropriate methods of influence on the debtor, to determine their place in the general system of forced measures used in the course of enforcement proceedings, to propose a single concept of establishing measures of indirect coercion, as well as evaluate the development prospects of this legal institution in Russia and the possibilities of using foreign experience for these purposes. For scientific and practical workers, teachers, graduate students and students of law universities, as well as all those interested in the problems of enforcement proceedings
