This monography "liability of managers and insurance mechanisms for their protection" is a comprehensive comparative study of the problems of responsibility of managers of business companies and insurance mechanisms that can be used to level its negative consequences. Until recently, the topic of liability of managers of business entities in the Russian Federation was not particularly popular, and the liability insurance policy of directors and officials was presented only by an exotic product in the Russian insurance market. Now the situation is beginning to change: managers of medium and large business are increasingly acquiring a liability insurance policy until the director’s chair is occupied. This is due to the fact that in practice the possibility of using a mask of a legal entity when performing by the director of unscrupulous and unreasonable actions is significantly reduced by introducing law enforcement of personal responsibility of directors: non-fulfillment of public obligations, performing actions with the aim of their own enrichment, enriching specific persons related to Director, etc. Despite the lack of uniformity in the legal qualifications of the responsibility of managers of business entities and the practices of bringing the director accountable for the choice of subordinates, it is now possible to state that the number of cases in which directors are held accountable will be steadily growing, and the directors sooner or later sooner or later We will have to think about minimizing risks associated with the recovery of significant funds from their own property mass. Despite the increasing interest in insurance of liability of managers, Russian practice has not yet proposed specific balanced decisions arising in connection with the introduction of an insurance product actively used in foreign law enforcement. The author tried to find answers to the most "acute" practical and theoretical questions regarding the application of this type of insurance.
