The book conducted a comparative analysis of Russian and Chinese legislation governing relations in the field of direct foreign investment. The concept of direct foreign investment was considered, their signs are revealed. Particular attention is paid to preferential and restrictive seizures from the national regime applied to organizations with foreign investment in Russia and the PRC. The effect of the WTO on the regulation of investment relations in these countries is also considered. Based on the analysis of legislation, judicial practice and decisions of international commercial arbitration, the problems of nationalization of foreign investment are investigated.
