Legal regulation of free medical care

The right of each person to medical assistance and a guarantee of free provision of medical care in state and municipal healthcare institutions are enshrined in Article 41 of the Russian Constitution. Relations for the free provision of medical care in essence are of a socio-public nature, therefore, they are regulated by social security law. The proposed textbook is designed to focus on issues that are not in its fullest study in the courses of other academic disciplines. From the standpoint of social security, the features of the legal regulation of these relations are revealed and the theoretical foundations of their regulation have been determined.
