Land law in Asia

The monograph covers the evolution of land ownership systems, land reforms, the main features of formal land law, acting within the framework of various legal systems of the countries of Southern, Eastern and Southeast Asia, and the usual land rights. The current state of land legislation in the countries of Asia is analyzed: land rights, granting and termination of these rights, the ratio of formal law with the usual land ownership systems, the problems of recognizing ordinary community rights to land.
