The main content of Russian labor law in the modern period has been revealed, the basic institutions of the general and special parts of labor law were analyzed, as well as a characteristic of a special part of labor legislation devoted to the features of labor regulation of certain categories of employees, which is necessary to form the competencies required by the Federal State Educational Standard and skills. The content of the textbook is based on the provisions of international acts in the field of labor, the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, federal laws, other regulatory legal acts that are sources of labor law, as well as judicial practice. Particular attention was paid to clarifications of labor legislation by the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation and the Federal Service for Labor and Employment.
