The monograph discusses the problems of the organizational and legal mechanism for the selection of candidates for the posts of judges and the vesting of them with judicial powers. The need for a stereoscopic approach to the problem required an analysis of the development of both the domestic mechanism for the formation of the judicial corps in dynamics and international and foreign regulation in this area.
The questions of the institution of the candidate for the position of judge, the methods of the Openka of his professionalism, medical and psychodiagnostic examination, property qualifications, the mechanism of competitive selection, "prices" of personnel error when appointing a judge are investigated. Proposals are made and substantiated on radical improvement of the procedure for the selection of candidates for the posts of judges and giving them by judicial powers.
