The monograph is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of investigative actions as procedural techniques that make up the cognitive arsenal of the investigator and aimed at establishing circumstances relevant to the criminal case.
The essence, methodological basis and system of investigative actions are studied, the main cognitive technologies used in their production are highlighted, the evidence of their results is determined. The problems of the theory and regulatory regulation of the general rules for conducting investigative actions, the procedural situation of participants in the investigative actions, fixing the progress and the results of the latter, judicial control over their production are reflected, and urgent problems of individual investigative actions are also considered: investigative inspection, examination, search, pending, and investigative experiment, interrogation, confrontation, presentation for identification, testing readings on the spot.
Particular attention is paid to applied aspects, the analysis of errors and difficulties that occur in modern investigative practice, possible options for overcoming them are proposed.
