The monograph on the basis of the analysis of modern doctrine and practice provides a classification of various types of territories (spaces), a characteristic of the status and international legal regimes of territories and other spaces is given, the international legal foundations of territorial distinctions are presented, legal grounds and methods of territorial changes, existing problems and methods Unresolved questions.
The author is presented and scientifically substantiated the modern concept of international territorial law, sectoral principles are formulated, its sources are determined and the main institutions were identified. The ratio and interaction of international territorial law with other branches of international law and the fields of scientific knowledge has been established. The analytical material is based on both the generalization of theoretical sources and the analysis of the provisions of international treaties, acts of international organizations and the legislation of the Russian Federation, the law enforcement practice of international courts and arbitration, is oriented to study with bachelors, magistrates and graduate students taking into account the formation of professional competencies that the graduate should have legal universities.
