This book in a systematic form considers theoretical and practical issues of making and revising intermediate court decisions in criminal proceedings. An analysis of the concept and types of such court decisions, the procedures for their adoption, appeal and consideration by the courts of appeal and cassation instances in their historical development in the Russian criminal process and the legislation of some foreign countries are proposed.
The monograph was prepared on the basis of the latest judicial practice, taking into account the latest changes in the legislation, decisions and rulings of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, the leading decisions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
