The textbook was prepared in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education in the direction of preparation “Jurisprudence” (qualification (degree) “Master”) In the training manual on the basis of the analysis of insurance legislation and the practice of its application, the concept, types and functions of insurance, goals and principles of its regulation are revealed, the place of norms governing social relations developing in the field of insurance, in the system of Russian law, the features of the legal status of insurance subjects are considered legal relations. A special place in the training manual is given to the characterization of the legal status of the Bank of Russia as a megaregulator and the subject that regulates and supervision of the insurance market in particular, as well as the study of the financial and legal regulation of insurance supervision in the Russian Federation.
