This monograph reveals the historical path and modern development of the legal mechanism of hereditary transmission in European continental and domestic law. The author based on a wide range of sources, including the involvement of modern judicial practice, analyzes the problems of the theory of hereditary transmission, the hypotheses and gaps of legal regulation existing in science. At the end of the study, methods of improving the design of hereditary transmission in Russian law are proposed.
