The monograph prepared by the team of authors was performed as part of the thematic plan of the research work of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law of the Law Institute of Kemerovo State University "Legal State and Civil Society, Human Rights Society of Civil Society for 2018 for 2018
In the publication dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, modern trends in the development of civil society and legal statehood are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the characterization of the development of human rights activity: the history of this type of social practice, its current state, problems and prospects of development. The study contains a comprehensive analysis of the basic mechanisms of human rights, designed to ensure the implementation of concepts of the rule of law, the institution of rights and freedoms of man and citizen.
The monograph is addressed to scientific and practical employees of the legal sphere, teachers, graduate students and students of legal and other humanitarian educational institutions, all interested in modern problems of human rights activities
