The monograph explores urgent problems associated with the ethical component of procedural activity at the stage of preliminary investigation in the modern criminal process of Russia. Approaches to the classification of norms governing the moral content of pre-trial criminal proceedings are determined, the ethical foundations of the application of criminal procedure coercion measures, as well as the production of investigative actions within the framework of the preliminary investigation, are analyzed.
